Booked provides travel support for Australian publishers and literary agents to: Promote Australian literary works and authors overseas and develop international demand for Australian literary works and authors, Sell international rights to Australian titles and Consolidate existing and build new relationships to international markets.
JUMP
The JUMP National Mentoring Program for Young and Emerging Artists supports the career development of artists aged 18-30, and in the first five years of their professional practice, by providing mentoring opportunities with established professionals in their artform.
Publishing and Promotion - Literature
Publishing and promotion grants support activities that foster greater awareness and appreciation of Australian creative writing. Publishing and promotion grants are designed to improve the vitality and viability of the Australian literature sector by supporting activities, which foster greater awareness and appreciation of outstanding Australian creative writing. In previous years, this category was known as presentation and promotion.
Residencies - Literature
Residencies foster excellence in writing by providing individual writers with a supportive environment for professional development, research and creative risk-taking. Support is available to individual writers and picture book illustrators through residencies and studios in Australia and overseas. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate the suitability of the intended location to their project.
Key Organisations - Multiyear - Literature
Key Organisations – Multiyear grants develop a viable infrastructure that supports the work and professional development of Australian writers and advances Australian literature. Eligibility is limited to organisations who have been invited to apply.
Key Organisations - Emerging - Literature
The Literature Board has established a new grant category called Key Organisations-Emerging, which is a pathway for organisations to enter the Key Organisations grant category in the future.
Fellowships - Literature
Fellowship grants support excellence in Australian literature by providing highly accomplished, critically recognised literary writers with financial support for two years to enable them to create new work. Fellowships are worth $50,000 per year for two years.
New Work - Literature
New work grants assist in the creation of new work by published Australian writers and picture book illustrators. New work funding is available for living allowances (including childcare) and/or assistance with travel and research costs associated with the preparation and writing of nominated projects.
Writers' Emeritus Award
The writers’ emeritus award acknowledges the achievements of eminent literary writers 60 years of age and over who have made outstanding and lifelong contributions to Australian literature. It is worth up to $50,000.
Languages Other Than English Publishing
The languages other than English (LOTE) publishing initiative supports the translation and publication of works by authors writing in languages other than English.

Program grants provide one-year funding to a limited number of significant Australian organisations that contribute to a viable strategic infrastructure that supports the work and professional development of Australian writers and the general advancement of Australian literature.
ArtStart
The ArtStart program provides financial assistance to recent creative
arts graduates who are committed to establishing a career as a
professional artist. Graduates who plan to earn income or gain
employment as a professional artist in the visual arts, hybrid and media
arts, performing arts, literature or in community arts and cultural
development may apply via the online application process.
