You don’t always appreciate what you’ve got until it’s gone A lonely and cantankerous old bachelor, comes to terms with the loss of someone who meant more to him than he realised.
Shuffling to the front door he scanned the front garden for the newspaper, wondering, not for the first time why it was so hard for people to leave the comfort of their cars to hand deliver the newspaper.
